OMER GA'ASH
United Kingdom
Omer Ga’ash is a London-based visual artist and photographer whose work delves into the profound connections between the human form, its environment, and the dynamics of human interaction. Holding an MA in Design Expanded Practice from Goldsmiths, University of London (distinction, 2021), and a BA in Visual Communications from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (2011), Ga’ash has showcased his work in prominent exhibitions across the UK and Israel, including at major museums and biennales. His visually arresting style combines digital photography with an innovative exploration of form and space.
At the heart of Ga’ash’s practice is Mapping Bodies (2016–2023), a trilogy examining the relationship between humans and their surroundings through nature, architecture, and intimate connections. By reducing the body to abstract symbols and patterns, he transcends identity, merging figures with their environments to create surreal, thought-provoking compositions. His work blurs the boundaries between connection and isolation, inviting reflection on the infinite possibilities of human experience.
