Magda is a photographer from Constanța who discovered photography as a means of expression in 2015. The street serves as her primary source of inspiration, representing her most profoundly, offering her the greatest challenges, and revealing something new to her each time.
Magda characterizes her photography created up until 2019 as "abstract, geometrical." Starting in 2020, Magda Fulger embraced the Fine Art photographic genre. The works she has produced since this period are described by the artist as "often surrealistic and poetic."
Architecture, intended for everyone, is a form of public art. Just as Lucio Fontana cut into canvases, Magda "cuts" from existing buildings, capturing them as they are—whether we admire them or find them unsettling.
She soon realized she was moving toward a new series, namely one of subjective geometries, where she discovered the most concrete way to create her own space. Her photographs transcend the decorative and delve into a spiritual aesthetic realm.
The type of photography she has chosen reflects her personal explorations. Just as in everyday life, where we strive to shed what is unnecessary, in her photographs, she seeks to reduce everything to its essential elements.
