Fadi Salib is an up-and-coming street photographer based in Toronto. Growing up, he developed an early interest in theatre and music, which fostered his affinity for creative expression. Practicing architecture further enriched his understanding of, and curiosity about, human interactions within spaces. A year ago, he discovered photography and has since been using it to explore and study social and political landscapes.
His work captures the essence of day-to-day life, documenting moments with which he feels a deep connection. With his camera as a constant companion, Fadi uses photography as a form of journaling—collecting an array of emotions through images when words fall short. As he evolves as an artist and dedicates himself more to photography, he uses the medium to reveal the diverse realities of the world we share. His work highlights the struggles and humor of everyday life, amplifies the voices of the unheard, and occasionally incorporates a touch of surrealism.
