HSU TUNG HAN
sculptures from wood that appear to be puzzles of pixels
Taiwanese artist Hsu Tung Han carves figurative sculptures from wood that appear to be puzzles of pixels. His wooden figures represent human beings dissolving into clouds of pixels, thus creating the perfect communion between the real and the digital world.
By carving delicate block-shaped details, using walnut, teak, or African wax wood, Han creates his sculptures as if they were a puzzle, creating weightless compositions that give the sensation of levitation.
